Well one thing we know is that the fake plane was discovered before Feb 23 on earth time....
But, if island time is so much slower -- how much time would have gone by for our losties?
It's so weird that this was updated, considering it was not written into the show in obvious places like Confirmed Dead, and then Damon and Carlton said it wasn't canon. I don't get it.
I hope the game will continue after this season. (I kinda' miss Sam.) I wonder if it will have anything to do with this:
Rumor/Spoiler
Spoiler:
The Jacobian Code. (Sounds very find815-ish.)
Prior to the strike, ep 4.9 was going to be Ben-centric. The title tentatively written in as “The Outlier”. The rumor states that TPTB brought in a numbers theory professor to write a proof called “The Jacobian Code”. This code, according to the rumor, involves maritime calculations and the “numbers”. This professor was to formulate this into an equation….said to be complex but solvable to the mildly educated student.
Did you see Sam's journal entry dated Feb. 23 on Find815.com ? I wonder if the game is going to resurface during the hiatus.
TLE had the same sort of "open-ended" ending. Mittelwerk saying he has his virus, and he'll be back, mwahahahahaha, or something like that.
I think this is TPTB's way of working into the story that Sam is "still with us," still following the unsolved mysteries, like we are. But I don't see the game coming back. I mean, it's called Find 815. And we found 815. I think if there's a game to come, it will be a new game (though apparently not during the hiatus, which is already half over).
Project Barkeep -- Keepin' it Stocked -- Have a Mojito, I muddled it with my own muddler.
Lindelof and Cuse say their experience with ancillary products and platforms has varied depending on whom they've collaborated with.
"They loved what Australia-based Hoodlum, for example, came up with for the show's recent "Find 815" interactive campaign. But the duo was less thrilled with some of the products that emerged early in the show's life, including a series of studio-commissioned "Lost"-themed novels that had little to do with the actual show."
