Re: Rate the Episode!!!

I gave it a 7, though it would probably be somewhere between 7 and 8. I enjoyed it a lot - there was a plethora of great moments - seeing Miles' skills in action, Christian appearing to Claire, the mental hospital scene, the Dan/Charlotte scenes were cute, and the Charlotte & Jin's conversation was a nice twist as well - but overall it somehow didn't fit together all that well for me and left a 'meh' aftertaste Plus, I can't believe they went with Kate still being undecided about Jack or Sawyer AFTER leaving the island - but it might be something else entirely that could pay off in the near future.

Re: Rate the Episode!!!

Yeah, I did enjoy this episode because it was a much quieter character-based episode. Juliet was excellent in a leadership position and I think that currently TPTB are building her and Sawyer to fill the positions of Jack and Kate when they leave the island.

I loved the Charlotte/Kwons interaction and love the fact that Rose and Bernard are being used more - I just wish that Claire's scene had been better, by which I mean more interesting!

I gave it a 6.

I can't see how anyone is rating this a 10.

Next week looks good though.

Just saw it a few minutes ago, I thought it was a good episode and I loved the Jateness & Sawyer & Miles' scenes.

LOL @ Juliet!

Re: Rate the Episode!!!

Gave it a 5. I liked the flash forward but the whole bit with the appendicitis seemed pointless and contrived, almost like the writers had 30 minutes to kill between this episode and the previous one. We'll see if it has broader implications for the overall plot but somehow I doubt it.

waiting, so impatiently........

"restraining order"
but Sawyer really needed to thump Miles there, too bad he didn't get the chance.

so loved Jin explaining to Charlotte how he was going to break all of Daniel's fingers. that was priceless!

interesting scene on the beach where they are all discussing how the freighties are liars, and can't be trusted (and totally loved Daniel calling up Charlotte's attitude - and the look on her face) and Juliet is there, not long ago in those shoes, and she's the hero of the night, saving Jack. so many "full circle" moments I can't keep track any more......

not as intense as last week, and no TOQ, which there should be some sort of rule against that, but this show breaks all the rules anyways (meaning that in a good way) but I liked it a lot, so it gets an 8 from me.

Re: Rate the Episode!!!

It's interesting to read that some people give the ep a 7 and didn't like it, and other's give at an 8 and love it I guess we all have our interpretation of the ratings!

I gave it a 7 -- I thought it was very good, much better than I expected it to be. And Jate was done very well in the ep (just adults acting like real adults for a change -- thank you, PTB!)

Evie and MF did an amazing job, they are so beautiful and natural together (and I'm not a jater or skater, just to let you know ), and I liked filling in some of the gaps on our way to TTLG. Now, I think finding out who's in the coffin will really seal the deal as to why Jack is going off the deep end.

Juliet was back to her awesome self -- this is the Juliet I loved last season, and her way of bringing Jate together was very well done! Kudos, writers!

I love crazy-Hurley, he's doing a great job with the role, and that scene was super-creepy!

I didn't dig the CS apparition as much -- a little too obvious, without really achieving anything except to act as another "gotcha-ghost" moment, which is becoming a little too much of a frequent plot device this season

I was also a bit let down when the writers had us for just a moment thinking that Kate's phone conversation had to do with work for Ben -- that would have been awesome, until she immediately went back to the -- "well, I think I also love Sawyer too" phase, which I think has to remain in the show till the end or else the triangle is over.

And absolutely loved bad-*ss Jin Very cool for him to get to call the shots, not to mention the foreshadowing of how Sun may be able to get off the island! Can't wait for next week!

Re: Rate the Episode!!!

I'd give it a 9, but only because a 10 in my mind is only deserved by truly fantastic episodes like Through The Looking Glass.
