... and then the telephone rang!

Did anyone else laugh or was pleasantly surprised when the telephone rang in Camp Locke?

My first thought was, "Didn't see that coming."

Me either! I was very suprised. Also when there was a knock at the door in the midst of a bomb and gunfire. I did laugh when the door opened and there's Miles!

I think I mentioned that in the "best lines" thread, not as a line, but a moment. Kind of like, who the heck is calling us? And didn't they ever try to use those phones to call out? Yeah, I know it didn't have a dial, but doesn't anyone know how to tap out a phone number anymore? We did this in college to get free phone calls all the time! lol!

Love kitty Thor and the Far Side line, one of my faves!

"phone call for Mr.Mongo!" Uh, Hello?...Ka-Boom!

When Miles rang the front door bell:
Hurley: "Uh, who is it?"
"Candygram!"
H: "What?"
"Uh, flowers!"
H: "Flowers? No one gets flowers"
"Uh, Pizza Man!"
H: "Wow, I love pizza! OK!" opens door.
"Land Shark!" Chomp!

Yeah, when the phone rang I did laugh. And said why didn't they ever try using one of those phones to get an outside line?

Maybe they were waiting on Jacob to tell them to do so.

i was so confused. I had not idea why the phone was ringing. If it was there in the past, they had to have tried to make sure it does not work.

You'll notice that Aaron even turned his head when the phone rang. I loved it when he did that.
