I didn't catch it but Vincent was in Australia with Walt. Remember that he was the stepfather's dog not Michael's.
The three of them were just returning from Australia. This was at a time way before the crash. If
Vincent even existed yet, then he would be in Australia

True, but it seems that the island is giving Locke the opportunity to do the things that he's wanted to do, but couldn't. He looked concerned about the lost dog flyer, but he was tracking the woman(his mother). On the island, he was able to help find Walt's dog. Anything??????

Re: "Lost Dog" flyer on Locke's winshield

I was just about to make a thread about the Lost Dog flyer.

I don't know if it had any significance, but if Locke seemed interested by the flyer, maybe his childhood was involved?

Remember Locke's story in Outlaws? The one about the stray dog wandering into his foster home after his sister Jeannie died? If I was Locke a Lost Dog poster would remind me about that.

Of course, the dog would've been long dead, so it couldn't be directly connected. Just Locke being sentimental.

Or perhaps Vincent is more signifigant to the story than any of us have ever anticipated......Nah, they would do that.... No way, couldn't be.

I looked at the picture. Its a brown dog, and it does not look like Vincent.
Upon closer look I can see it is a totally different race. I dont know what race as I dont know much about dog breeds andsuch. But its NOT Vincent race :P

I know that this is a very old thread...but I just rewatched this episode and the photo on the flyer looked like a wild boar to me!
