I hope it is all a sham and that Lockes mother wasn't a mentally challanged person .
I still think that 'the father' was not the real father but a con man to get the deal done./ or the father was not the recipient

keep in mind his mommy said he was "emaculatly conceived" maybe she wasnt lieing--- he is special right? he's the only one connected to the island... why Locke- whats so great about locke that he is the only one ahead of the game... i think that his mom isnt mental- i think she knows what should and shouldnt happen... why did she need money anyways? i dont think thats the actual dad either... i think they are all in a big conspeiricy

directing Locke because all things are fate perhaps. Also his mother might be in his dreams because she did know where and how he'd end up and his subconcious knows that so it put her there for him to follow

Yeah, i'm not ruling out the good possibility that it's something else- but at the moment I can't think of anything else that'd make sense, other than what you said.

no, i dont recall her having blood on her- just that fur coat... do u think it was real because she said she needed money and if she needed it for whatever- why would she buy a fur coat... thats a question no one has raised here in the fuselage yet...
