Quick question
Spoiler:
Does anyone know of a movie where Leonardo DiCaprio's character does not die?

I loved Matt Damon's and Leonardo DiCaprio's performances in this film. A great on-screen pair.

Yep Jate, two that I can think of at the moment. Catch Me if You Can and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I was never a big fan of Leo's but after seeing Departed and watching previews for Blood Diamond hes quickly moving up into my top ten favorite actors.

My first (really quick) instinct was to say romeo and juliet but then I said wait a second...

agreed on the departed, good ending, not better than children of men, silly academy

Ah thankyou. I wasn't much of a fan of WEGG even though it has two of my fav actors, but I thought Leo's performance in that flick was awesome.
I definitely recommend Blood Diamond, but just beware that it's very 'real'.

Re: Movie Review thread (2)

K, just saw Hot Fuzz, and have to say it was one of the funniest movies I think I've ever seen, and I don't know why. It was silly, but quick, dramatic (kinda), and scary all rolled into one. Maybe I had an off night, but I thought it was hilarious.

Also, was watching the trailers and I saw this really odd/quite scary (and I mean that) trailer.............................. has anyone seen the ad for Black Sheep? Seriously what is the deal?!

Whoa k, third time I'm replying to myself, so sad.

Anyway, just saw the Holiday and I really enjoyed it. I especially loved the scene
Spoiler:
with Dustin Hoffman, and the way Cameron Diaz's character kept hearing her life as a movie trailer

Anyone seen Spiderman 3 yet?

Re: Movie Review thread (2)

I forget about this thread. Movies I've seen in the past month or so. Wild Hogs, that was one funny show. Seriously I wasn't expecting it to be that good. I saw the preview and seen the guys on Oprah and thought meh. But a friend wanted to go so I went and laughed my a** off all the way through the movie. When it comes out to rent, rent it. Blood Diamond, I want to buy this movie, but cheap me is waiting till it goes into the previously viewed bin, because I want to watch it again. The acting in this movie is phenomenal. Apparently Leo nailed the accent dead on. Good stuff.

Re: Movie Review thread (2)

Just saw Spiderman 3. I'd probably give it an 8/10. Very good. It's already made more money on opening day than any other film in history, which is surprising.
