She has such an amazing voice. Her album "Stripped" is out of this world. I love "Impossible" and "What a Girl Wants". She's amazing. Her moulin rouge part was the best.
I'm a really big fan of hers...I think she has an amazing vocal talent...and I love how outspoken and honest she is.
But I have to say that "Back to Basics" isn't really impressing me like I thought it would. I just felt like stripped was such a masterpiece...with so many different types of music and songs that were so different in style and tone. They were all very catchy in different ways. But this new CD has yet to grow on me. The first disc is better than the second one...but nothing really jumps out and makes you want to sing along.
I also think the first disc of B2B is better than the second one. I prefer the idea of mixing samples from older songs with newer beats than making full-on bigband style songs. I also think that the album has too many slower songs.
I don't know if it's been confirmed yet, but I've heard talk about Candyman being a second single. I don't think that would go down very well on the radio. It sounds too 40s-ish for mainstream radio, plus the lyrics are quite risque.
I think my favourite Christina songs are "Walk Away", "Dirrty" "Beautiful", "Can't hold us down" and "Fighter"...She chose to release some KILLER songs from Stripped!
