It was pretty cool that Chad was able to hit the hollow even though he couldn't see it and actually did damage!!! Although it never occurred to me that Ichigo's body was kind of defenseless while he was doing his soul reaper duties. if the hollows were smart one would attack him while he was a reaper and another would go after his body.
