I'm looking forward to tonight. But I fear Traveler will fall to the same situation other serial dramas have over the last 2 seasons. People have been waiting to find out if the shows are making it before investing in it, and since everyone does that, the show ends up failing. One of the columnists on TV Guide was talking about the phenomenon.
I admit I have been party to it. I TiVoed the first few episodes of Kidnapped and Drive and didn't watch them by the time I found out the shows were canceled. I guess I'm guilty too.
I haven't watched this last epi of Traveler yet. I just haven't had the time! I am going to watch it tonight though because I don't want to get too far behind (if it does make it).
I'm hoping because it is the summer they will give this (and other shows) more of a chance than usual because there is less high-powered competition on TV.
I'm really liking this show. It's interesting to try an guess what is a set-up and what isn't.
Of course I knew that Will survived the blast, but I had no clue why the museum was blown up, but apparently it was to destroy a specific collection of art. What is this collection? I have no clue yet, but then again I don't have HD and I didn't get any screen caps of that picture Will was getting "appraised".
I'm really having a blast trying to figure out what Will planned and what he didn't. So far everything looks like Will planned it to happen - in conjunction with the old guy and the blond Asian.
But my question is did Will know that Nell and Tyler were making out down there? and if he did would the money and the gun (a Desert Eagle I think) still have been left there?
This show has a lot of potential, and I like that the cops seem a little more realistic than the typical TV show cops, they are using the press effectively as a plot device, the conspiracy seems to be getting deep.
Another question, were Jay and Tyler singled out purposely or did they just happen to be in the wrong house at the wrong time?
I thought for sure the girl was in on it, the way she seemed to be keeping Tyler from following Will into that room. This show kind of reminds me of Prison Break, they're always narrowly escaping capture, and the cops always catch up to them in remarkable speed.
I have no other theories right now. I knew Will was still alive.. I have no idea what else is going on yet. The painting was interesting though.
I'm enjoying the show too, but really ain't thinking about it too much.
I have no theories on it either.....except i do think that girl in the library is involved somehow....and Will being alive wasn't a very big surprise.
My one serious complaint...... that actress playing the female fbi agent?
is she the worst actress ever or what......
she really, really, really bugs me
I'm such a slacker. I just now finished catching up on the epis for the show. I really like this show. It's good entertainment with a bit of mystery but it doesn't require seriously intense thought (a la Lost).
I knew Will was alive too. I still haven't put my finger on what the guy at Homeland Security is up to. He either has his own agenda or he's in charge of some covert group. I just can't figure out what in the world the art collection has to do with it.

I think that's true, and it does look like the chances of Traveler returning for a second season are slim to none.
